Our Psychologist Participated in the “Post-Traumatic Growth” Conference
Recently, our psychologist Liudmyla took part in the “Post-Traumatic Growth” conference — an event dedicated to the recovery and social reintegration of servicemembers, veterans, and helping professionals.
The conference brought together experts from across Ukraine working in the fields of veteran rehabilitation, psychological support, and integrative care for defenders returning from combat.
🔹 Key topics included:
• Post-traumatic growth in servicemembers after captivity and severe injuries,
• Psycho-emotional stabilization of veterans during mourning, including the concepts of horizontal and vertical grieving,
• Recovery from trauma among civilians — particularly psychologists, doctors, and volunteers.
This event served as a powerful reminder: adapting to life after war is possible, and the human spirit can grow even through pain.
For the Iryska Charitable Foundation, participating in such events is a way to stay aligned with modern approaches to veteran rehabilitation.
We firmly believe that only through continuous learning, professional community support, and knowledge exchange can we improve the quality of care we provide to those who defend our country.
🤝 Supporting wounded servicemembers is our daily mission. And we continue to grow — to remain a steady, expert presence for everyone rebuilding their life with the support of Iryska.
