July at the Iryska Foundation: A month of rehabilitation and support for Ukraine’s defenders

image

July, like every month, was full of work, meetings, and news for the Iryska Charitable Foundation. Most importantly — thanks to your support, we managed to raise 42,000 UAH in donations through social media, as well as 398,500 UAH from private donors. These funds help us continue comprehensive rehabilitation for wounded service members 🫂

July achievements of the Iryska Foundation:
▪️ 194 physical rehabilitation sessions for service members recovering from injuries and wounds;
▪️ 13 individual psychological support meetings for veterans working on post-traumatic growth;
▪️ 22 medical consultations with a trauma surgeon — an important stage of rehabilitation after combat;
▪️ 1 offline meeting in Odesa as part of our social adaptation and return-to-active-life program;
▪️ 2 new participants joined our veteran rehabilitation program in Dnipro, one of whom has already successfully completed the course.

We would also like to highlight an event that was especially important to us: we held a webinar for our partners at Keenetics on the topic:

“How to Talk to Veterans: Ethics, Gratitude, and Mutual Respect in Communication”

This webinar helps expand knowledge about the psychological recovery of veterans and fosters a culture of respectful and appropriate communication with those who have gone through traumatic experiences.

Thanks to the joint efforts of our foundation’s team, our partners, and you — our supporters — we continue to assist service members in Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, and Dnipro. Helping the military is our shared mission. Every donation and every act of spreading information brings us closer to our goal — to help defenders return to their lives.
