4D Rehabilitation: How We Support the Return to Life After War

image

Coming back to life after an injury is about the mind, connection, and meaning. That’s why the Iryska Charitable Foundation is developing the 4D rehabilitation approach — a comprehensive system for veteran recovery that includes four key areas:

  • Physical rehabilitation after injuries

  • Psychological recovery of veterans

  • Social reintegration

  • Cultural integration and meaning-making

We believe that only integrative rehabilitation offers a true chance — not just to heal, but to return to one’s life.

Our programs include:
– individual rehabilitation plans for service members
– aquatic therapy
– personalized trauma-focused therapy
– and group sessions

Each participant receives tailored support that respects their pace, needs, and state of mind. Because adapting to life after war is a long road — but with the Iryska Foundation’s support, it becomes possible.

We are here — at every stage:

  • during rehabilitation after combat

  • in the process of emotional and psychological stabilization

  • in the transformation of traumatic experience

  • in moments of post-traumatic growth

Our goal is to support service members not with words, but with action.
Because the return of Ukraine’s defenders to life isn’t about what’s behind — it’s about what lies ahead.
