8th Annual Memorial Run “HONORING WARRIORS – RUNNING FOR THE HEROES OF UKRAINE” to be held in Switzerland for the first time

This year, our partners at the VIDNOVA Swiss-Ukrainian Association have become official co-organizers of the international charity run “Honoring Warriors – Running for the Heroes of Ukraine”, which will be held in Switzerland for the very first time. You can also join online from anywhere in the world.

• When: August 30, 2025
• Time: Any convenient time during the day
• Distances: 2 km, 5 km, or 10 km

This run holds special meaning. It is dedicated to the memory of every hero — a soldier you knew personally or in your heart — who can no longer run themselves. It is an event that unites people in a shared mission to preserve their memory.

2. On August 30 — run your chosen distance at a location convenient for you

3. Take a photo from your run and note the distance covered

4. Send your photo to the organizers at [email protected]

5. A participation medal will be mailed separately (details in the registration form)

All funds raised will go toward rehabilitation programs for Ukrainian defenders, including veterans’ psycho-emotional stabilization, aqua therapy for service members, and integrative rehabilitation after injuries.

Participation is open to everyone — even without making a donation, as the main goal is support and remembrance.

We recommend wearing a white T-shirt and attaching your registration number with the name of the hero you are running for. This is a way to give them the chance to “run” this path together with you.
